On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, there will be no 9 AM or 12:10 PM Mass. There will also be no 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM or 11:30 AM to 11:55 AM Confessions. The Cathedral will open to the public at 1 PM for Christmas Eve Confessions (two Confessors) from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM. Confession will end at 2:15 PM, whether there is still a line or not, to allow our priests time to spiritually prepare for the 2:30 PM Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In addition to the 2:30 PM Christmas Eve Mass, we will also have Mass at 4:30 PM. Following the 4:30 PM Mass, the doors to the Cathedral will close and reopen again at 11 PM before the 11:30 PM Christmas Caroling program and Midnight Mass.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, at 4:30 PM, on the Feast of the Archangels, a Memorial Mass for Father Thomas Montelaro will be offered at the Guardian Angel Cathedral, Las Vegas. This Mass marks the one-month anniversary of his death. We await the details for Father Montelaro’s Funeral Mass, which will be celebrated in his home Diocese of Lafayette in Louisiana. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Father Tom, who served in so many of our parishes in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas for more than 20 years.

The Cathedral Mass Intention book is now full, and no more Masses are available for the current liturgical year, which runs from December 2024 through November 2025. We have no open Masses for your requests at this time. The Mass Intention Book for the upcoming Liturgical Year that starts on Sunday, November 30, 2025, and ends on November 27, 2026. Please note that the Mass Intention Book follows the Liturgical Year, and not the Calendar Year.
