- Volunteering at the Cathedral
  
  Guardian Angel Cathedral has more than 50 individuals who volunteer in a wide variety of ways to support the spiritual needs of the faithful from around Las Vegas and the globe.
  
  Some of the volunteer opportunities include:
  Lector - We welcome volunteer lectors at most weekday and Sunday Masses. Prior experience is helpful, and an audition is required.
  Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion - At many Masses, Extraordinary Ministers assist in distributing Holy Communion. You must be a Confirmed Catholic and have been certified.
  Minister of Hospitality - Due to the large volume of attendees at our weekend Masses and other special liturgies and events, volunteers are needed to distribute programs and assist with seating.
  
  The amount of time and frequency of your volunteer hours can depend on your personal circumstances. Scheduling is done quarterly using the Ministry Scheduler Pro platform.
