2025 Simbang Gabi ChoirRehearsals for the 9 AM Monday, December 15, 2025, Simbang Gabi Mass at the Guardian Angel Cathedral with Archbishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., begin on Saturday, November 15 at 11:30 AM.
All participants in the 2025 Simbang Gabi Choir are expected to be available for the 9 AM liturgy on December 15, 2025.

Participation RequirementsTo participate in the 2025 Simbang Gabi Choir at the Guardian Angel Cathedral, the following must be met:
- Completed volunteer application/fingerprint packet and successful background investigation on file
- Possess the ability to match/maintain pitch and sing in time with others
- Attendance at rehearsals
- Ability to be at the 9 AM Mass on Monday, December 15 (please secure permission to be off from work before rehearsals begin)
Attendance Requirements
To participate in the choir for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, you must attend a minimum of two rehearsals plus the mandatory Saturday, December 13, 2025, rehearsal.Dress Code
For the December 15 Mass:
Men
- Black pants
- Black socks
- Black shoes
- Black belt
- Black shirt
- White barong (optional)
Women
- Black pants
- Black socks/stockings
- Black closed-toe shoes
- Black belt (optional)
- Red (same shade as UNLV) top
For Rehearsals:
All rehearsals take place inside the Cathedral. Modest and respectful dress is required at all times.
