Anderson Hall is located in the Archdiocesan Chancery Building (Catholic Center).
New students are accepted until the drop/add deadline on Sunday, September 28, 2025. After September 28, please join the interest list for Becoming Catholic Classes that start in September 2026.
The Catechetical Year at Guardian Angel Cathedral begins Sunday, September 7, at 10:30 AM! These classes are for adults 18 and older who have already graduated from high school — high school seniors, even if 18, are not eligible.
Sessions run most Sunday mornings through mid-May, with only a few weekends off. Participants are encouraged to attend the 9 AM Mass before class.
Participants are encouraged to get involved at the 9 AM Mass by serving as Cathedral ushers - even while discerning. Volunteering is a great way to be part of the parish community — full details are included in the cover letter and information packet.
Whether you're discerning the Catholic faith and considering becoming Catholic, or you're already Baptized Catholic but haven’t received First Holy Communion or Confirmation, this program is for you! Remember, you cannot serve as a Godparent unless you have been Confirmed.
If you are interested, please complete the Parish Registration Form on the very last page of the Information Packet below (PDF) and return it to the Cathedral Office by one of the following methods: stopping by during the week, dropping it in the collection basket at Mass, or placing it in the Poor Box. A member of the Cathedral team will contact you to arrange an intake appointment with Fr. Mugagga Lule.
We look forward to walking this faith journey with you!
