Confession ends 15 minutes before the start of the 2:30 PM Mass to allow the Priest time for personal prayer to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, vest, and meet with the Altar Servers.

In 1990, the Vatican granted Guardian Angel Cathedral special permission (indult) to celebrate a 2:30 PM Saturday Vigil Mass that fulfills the Sunday obligation. We remain one of the only churches in the world with this privilege.

These classes are for adults 18 and older who have already graduated from high school — high school seniors, even if 18, are not eligible.
